百胜餐饮集团(中国) 是跨国餐饮公司百胜位于上海的分支机构。它是国内领先的零售开发商，在 1100 多个城市拥有超过 7100 家餐厅 —— 大多数为肯德基与必胜客的直营店。肯德基® 是首家进入中国市场的快餐连锁店，从1987 年入华至今，已成为中国排名第一的西式快餐品牌；而必胜客® 则将批萨与西式餐饮引入中国，使其成为国内领先的西式休闲餐饮品牌。百胜餐饮品牌在中国的成长，离不开经验丰富的本地团队、覆盖全国的配送体系，以及对创新与产品质量的极致追求。这些构成了百胜品牌战略的基础。
“人工成本的上升和对数据准确度的高要求，让我们拥抱新技术。 然而，在尝试了不同的数据识别解决方案之后，我们发现在使用它们的过程中完全达不到所需的准确度要求。于是，我们就选择了国际知名品牌泰比 (ABBYY) 和他的数据捕捉方案。 现在，在该项目部署、优化将近一年之后，能够被全自动处理 (即数据识别零错误、发票无需人工参与核查流程) 的发票数量占总体比例已增长至将近 70%。这个结果超乎我们所有人的预期。目前我们对软件的稳定性和识别的高效率非常满意。”

作为一家大型企业，百胜每天都面临着海量的文档处理问题。需要处理的文档中，各类发票占了大多数，包括增值税发票和运输发票。
过去，所有的文档都由中国各地的百胜财务部门专职雇员人工处理，所录入的数据与财务系统 (ERP) 中的相应合同进行比对，从而核对每笔款项是否都已完成支付。人工处理会导致很多错误。但更糟的是，由于来自不同供应商的发票数量巨大，且公司只能在人工核对发票与合同之后才能划拨相应款项 (不确定)，这使得文档的处理速度明显下降。
为了降低人力消耗并提高效率与准确率，公司决定通过采用数据捕捉技术，来整合财务处理流程，并将发票信息的提取过程自动化。
像拥有网络广泛的分支机构和大量独立部门的大多数现代企业一样，百胜选择使用财务共享服务中心 (FSSC) 模型，将支持处理委托给后台，以此在降低运营成本的同时，提高处理结果的质量。为了自动化FSSC的业务处理流程，百胜决定采用一种数据捕捉解决方案。
在尝试了几种数据捕捉方案后，百胜选择了 ABBYY FlexiCapture，由泰比 (ABBYY) 的中国合作伙伴 — 上海泰彼信息技术有限公司推出。该项目在一年内实施完成，包括模板的开发与测试、财务系统的集成、对“小批量处理”的概念验证阶段，以及最终针对“全周期处理”的验证阶段。
百胜发现FSSC模型作为工作流程系统最为有效：ABBYY FlexiCapture 收集并自动发送数据到联合处理中心，那里的操作员会进行数据的核查。同时，FSSC 不仅简化了工作流程，还得益于发票处理流程的标准化与简化，文档运输的时间也大大节省，错误率也降到最低。 系统上线的初始阶段，每天处理的文档数量可在5000～8000份，之后这个数量增长到每天超过 20,000 份。长期而言，百胜还计划扩大该系统的规模，以便处理更多的文档。
在项目上线之前，百胜在全中国有16个办公室，超过900名员工在从事着文档处理和数据录入的工作。在部署 ABBYY FlexiCapture 后，同样的工作量只要 FSSC 的不到100名员工就能完成。
不仅如此，ABBYY 公司的软件使得公司能够解放劳动力，显著改善数据在提取过程中的准确度，也提高了业务流程的效率。
